Description
Carpinus Betulus ‘Columnaris Nana’ is a dwarf variety of European Hornbeam. The slow growing with a narrow form makes it an excellent street tree as pruning is not necessary, though it does take a hard pruning if a hedge is desired. In fall characteristic green leaves give way to an outstanding display of yellow, orange foliage.
