Description
Sempervivum tectorum ‘Pilioseum’ hens and chick features interesting rosettes of gray-green, wedge-shaped leaves complemented by tiny star-shaped leaves complemented by tiny star shaped flowers in summer. Each "hen" produces several "chicks" per year, growing several feet in a few seasons. Great for rock gardens! Also effective in low borders, stone walls, and in container collections.

Soil: well drained, regular garden soil. Hens and Chicks doesn’t mind poor, rocky soil.
