Description
Hoya is a genus of tropical plant in the Apocynaceae family and also known as "Waxvine" or "Waxflower". Hoya carnosa compacta, commonly called "Rope", is a climber that has waxy thick curled and contorted leaves on twisting stems – resembling a rope. Waxy star shaped flowers appear in clusters at the tips of spurs, or peduncies, in colors ranging from white to dark pink. The more sun it is in the more chance you will be graced with its blooms.
