Description
Rhus typhina ‘Bailtiger’, otherwise known as ‘Tiger Eyes’ cutleaf staghorn sumac, is a golden-leafed form. Chartreuse green new growth quickly changes to yellow, eventually aging to yellow, orange, and intense scarlet in the fall. Tiger Eyes tolerates a wide range of soils and urban conditions. Great choice if you really wanted a Japanese maple but need something tougher.
