Description
Sempervivum tectorum hens and chicks has interesting rosettes of plump, wedge-shaped leaves complemented by tiny star shaped flowers. Each mother plant (hen) produces several offshoots (chicks) per year thus explaining this plants unique common name. Bloom stalks bearing reddish-purple flowers appear in summer. Classic plant for rock gardens
